Weird Wednesday

In spite of cool weather, we headed out on another Randall Picnic last Wednesday. We went to a park we hadn't been to before out in Holden. I packed easy food (no on location cooking required). That turned out to be a mistake. I made Oriental Chicken Salad and regular chicken salad and bought pitas to eat it in. We got it all unpacked and discovered the pitas (purchased that day) were blue and fuzzy. We had no utensils so we ate chicken salad with carrot sticks or our fingers.


We played at the park and enjoyed the cooler weather. In spite of the food problems, it was a pretty nice picnic, just not as exciting as our other ones have been.
