Last week Bryan had an appointment out in Pioche, Nevada, on his day off, so we joined him for the trip. While he was at his appointment, we went to the local park, museum, a store, and the library. We loved the teeter-totters at the park and all the neat things we saw at the museum, but we were glad when Bryan's appointment was done because we were running out of ideas of things to do in the middle of winter in the middle of nowhere.
After Bryan finished we had a picnic and went hiking in the Cathedral Gorge State Park. The weather was great and the park was beautiful. I think it would be excessively warm in the summer, but it was a very neat place to visit. The kids loved the "castles" and were noticing erosion all around them and collecting rocks. We had a lot of fun!

Brady looks pretty sketchy about sitting next to that chief! Good to see your kids left their shoes on at the snow-covered park for a change (even if Brady's are crocs). You are a good mommy to take your kids out and about!
