Cove Fort Days

Last week in church they announced that it would be Cove Fort Days this weekend. Brady had been asking all week if it was time yet. We went yesterday. There were wagon rides, singing, and displays of many old-time activities. We saw a potter, a rug maker, a beekeeper, a lace maker, and other things. I think our favorite was when we went on "one last ride" on the wagon before leaving, and the owner invited us to sit up front with him. We got to watch him drive the wagon and we got to see the horses pulling it up close. That was really neat! We had a good time and look forward to going again next year.
