August was a busy month, but not so many outside activities seemed to fill our time. We started out the month with visit from our cousins, the Borrowmans. They stayed with us for a few days and we had some fun times.
One of our fun times was a hike to Cascade Falls up Cedar Canyon. The weather was cool and a bit rainy and the waterfall was gorgeous. The kids were pretty good hikers and also posed well for some cute pictures.
While they were here we also played at the Discovery Park, had a picnic, and then went to the new resevoir in Cedar for a swim. Gaige got sick on a twisty swing, but soon recovered when he wasn't being spun around crazily any more. The water was cool at the resevoir, but everyone seemed to have a fun time swimming.
Later in August we had our cousin, Eden, come visit for a week. We spent lots of time playing babies while she was here. Bryan and Brady built a bird house together, and Brady and Ellie spent lots of time playing and being silly together. We are sure glad that they are such good friends!
