Canyon Park Adventures

Posted by Picasa
A few days ago we finally had a really nice day (we thought), so I packed a picnic dinner, we picked up Bryan from work, and went to Canyon Park to eat. It ended up being rather chilly and both kids complained about the cold. In spite of the cold we played on the toys and then decided to explore a little bit. We found a way down to the river and went to throw rocks. Brady and Ellie were both wearing their "wading shoes." Wading shoes were meant to be used despite the weather, I guess. The cold didn't seem to phase them at all. They both went right in and had a great time! We had a hard time getting them out of the creek and ended up staying a lot longer than we had planned. Both kids, however, came home wet and very happy!

  1. It's hard to wait for the warm weather to really get here. Looks like you have some tough-footed kids. Fun, fun!

  2. It's so so nice to get out of the house! We're way excited for spring. I can't believe Ellie in that cold water. She's a die-hard player:)
